Excel balance sheets free downloads?

Can anybody help me please. I am looking for a template that I can download from the web (free of charge if possible), which makes it easy to keep just a simple "home balance". That is a record of my expenses and income. So by the end of the month I have a record of what has "gone out" and what has come in"........with a total balance at the end. Would appreciate any suggestions. Thank you...
